A human rights-based approach to mental health prioritises dignity, autonomy, and equity for people with mental health conditions and psychosocial, intellectual, and cognitive disabilities. In the Asia-Pacific region, movements for deinstitutionalisation and recovery-oriented services are growing.
Speakers from Fiji, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Nepal will share their efforts to promote rights-based mental health in their contexts.
This webinar is co-hosted with CBM Global Disability Inclusion, an organisation committed to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities. CBM Global is a close partner of the WHO, collaborating on initiatives like QualityRights.
