Solidarity Bridge between Singapore and Latin America
We are pleased to present the "Solidarity Bridge between Singapore and Latin America", a series of 4 webinars every alternate Friday between 8:00am – 9:00am Singapore time to support the Latin American countries in their efforts to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a multi-lateral collaboration to discuss the challenges that this global healthcare crisis is bringing to the Latin American countries, facilitate experience sharing between the medical professionals, and provide support to the top hospitals and top medical schools in Latin America.

Title: Singapore's Early Planning and Response to COVID-19
Singapore is a nexus of global commerce, tourism and healthcare which renders it particularly vulnerable to communicable diseases. Experience with Nipah (1999), SARS (2003) and pandemic influenza (2009) sharpened its pandemic preparedness as of Jan 2020. Dr Allen will review Singapore’s coordinated pandemic preparedness plan, how it was implemented during COVID-19 and what the results have been to date.
